On Saturday, November 8, our parish held a picnic organized as a sign of gratitude for the completion of the “Transfiguration Project.” All the homemade dishes were prepared with love, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere of community.
At the end of the event, Fr. Roman gave a presentation showing how our church had changed throughout the year, which concluded with the installation and blessing of the new iconostasis. The designer, Mrs. Iryna Kulchytska, spoke about her work and explained that all the elements of the iconostasis were inspired by the time of St. Volodymyr the Great, Equal to the Apostles.
Mr. Mykhailo Stetskiw also shared words of gratitude, thanking everyone for their joint efforts in bringing this project to life.
The celebration concluded with remarks from Fr. Oleh Kepeshchuk, administrator of the Immaculate Conception Parish in San Francisco. He shared about his priestly ministry, especially the building of the church of Saints Volodymyr and Olha in Poland, and wished our community continued growth and God’s abundant blessings.
