On November 2, our parish celebrated a very special event — the formation of the Men’s Brotherhood of Blessed Mykola Charnetsky and the admission of its first members.
Before the prayer, Fr. Roman read the duties of the brotherhood and the blessing from Bishop Benedyct Aleksiychuk. In his message, the Bishop expressed his joy about this new beginning and wished the members fruitful service for the good of the parish, for the glory of God, and in imitation of Blessed Mykola’s virtues, especially his example of selfless service.
After the blessing, Fr. Roman wished the new members God’s grace and strength to fulfill their mission. The celebration ended with the whole parish singing “Mnohaya Lita” in thanksgiving to God for this new brotherhood called to prayer and service in the community.
