Today, a warm and inspiring candle-making workshop took place in our parish. Both children and adults participated in the event, joyfully creating their own candles made of pure natural beeswax.
In a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, participants learned about the spiritual meaning of the Candlemas candle and had the opportunity to make one with their own hands. Everyone was pleased with their work and took home a candle to be blessed on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, which the Church celebrates on February 2.
We sincerely thank all who took part in this beautiful event for their enthusiasm, creativity, and fellowship. May the light of the Candlemas candle remind us of Christ — the Light of the world — who enlightens every human heart.
