St Volodymyr Ukrainian Catholic Church in Santa Clara, CA
Today, June 25, an inspiring online meeting took place between the pastoral councils of Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church and St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church, and the parish council of Our Lady of Zarvanycia Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Seattle.
Under the leadership of Fr. Andrii Oliinyk, the Seattle parishioners warmly shared their rich experience of building a vibrant parish. This brotherly exchange showed how sincere service, teamwork, and faith can create a strong and living Church community.
Representatives of key parish ministries shared their experience — including the Ukrainian heritage school, the catechetical school, the St. Volodymyr men’s brotherhood, the St. Olha sisterhood, the parish choir, the tech and media teams, and the story of how their parish gift shop was established.
This meeting became a great source of inspiration for us. We saw how a living parish is built through the dedication of its members, cooperation across generations, and clear spiritual leadership.
We sincerely thank Fr. Andrii Oliinyk and all the parishioners of Our Lady of Zarvanycia for the warm welcome, openness, and generous sharing. You are truly building a living Church, and your daily work is a powerful witness of faith. Your experience will be priceless as we continue our own mission.
Together in Christ, together for the Church!
