On Sunday, June 8, 2025, our parish community came together in prayer to celebrate the great feast of Pentecost — the day the Church was born.
The celebration began with a special moment of reverence as everyone knelt and prayed the ancient prayer “Heavenly King,” asking the Holy Spirit to come. This gesture of unity and humility created a deep spiritual atmosphere at the start of the Divine Liturgy.
A special moment during the Liturgy was the blessing of a new icon of the Holy Eucharist, lovingly donated by Mrs. Iryna and Mr. Mykola Zelenyak. Fr. Roman Bobesiuk, our parish administrator, performed the blessing. The icon will now be a beautiful reminder in our church of Christ’s real presence in the Holy Eucharist.
At the end of the Liturgy, the parish sang “Many Years” with joy, greeting one another with warm wishes for the feast.
