Today, we gathered for a meaningful and heartfelt event-the raising of the Ukrainian flag. This moment brought together members of the Ukrainian community, local residents, and government leaders in a shared expression of solidarity and hope.
Many representatives of government and public office spoke words of support for the Ukrainian people. These moments remind us that we are not alone. They give us strength, hope, and renewed faith in victory and peace.
We express our sincere gratitude to Board President Otto Lee for his hospitality, leadership, and unwavering support. We are also thankful to his entire team for everything they are doing for our community.
The ceremony was enriched not only by remarks from representatives of senators and local authorities, but also by uplifting performances from Ukrainian cultural groups. Their songs and dances brought color, heart, and spirit to the event, reminding us of the beauty and resilience of Ukrainian heritage.
It is especially important that we come together like this-to show the world that the war is not over, that Ukraine continues to suffer and fight, and that we continue to stand for freedom, dignity, and peace.
The event concluded with a moving moment as the Ukrainian delegation raised the blue and yellow flag while singing “Shche ne vmerla Ukraina.”
To all who participated and stood with us today-thank you. Your presence means more than words can express.
In unity, we find strength. In solidarity, we move forward.
