St Volodymyr Ukrainian Catholic Church in Santa Clara, CA
On Father’s Day, our St. Volodymyr Parish community gathered in prayer for all fathers, grandfathers, and godfathers, thanking God for their love, sacrifice, and faithful care for their families.
A special part of the day was expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Yarema and Romana Hryciw and their children for their many years of dedicated service to our parish family. As the Hryciw family prepares to move to Pennsylvania, we took this opportunity to thank them for 39 years of faithfulness, commitment, and love for our parish community.
Throughout these years, the Hryciw family supported our parish through their prayers, hard work, and active participation in parish life. They helped raise their children in our parish school, generously shared their talents, and became an inseparable part of our parish family.
Fr. Roman read a Certificate of Appreciation from Bishop Benedict, after which the entire parish joined in singing “Mnohaya Lita” in honor of the Hryciw family. In turn, the Hryciw family warmly thanked everyone for the years of friendship, prayer, and shared service, and they also offered their own heartfelt rendition of “Mnohaya Lita.”
Following the celebration, everyone enjoyed fellowship, coffee, and conversation in a warm and joyful family atmosphere.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the Hryciw family for their love for God and His Church, for their example of Christian life, and for all the good they have done for our parish. May the Lord accompany them in this new chapter of their lives, bless their family with health, peace, and abundant graces, and grant them many blessed years!
