“Direct my steps according to Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.”
(Psalm 119:133)
The Wise Men who journeyed through the desert always left footprints behind them. In time, the wind erased them, but while they were still visible, they showed the way to those who followed. Those footprints silently testified: someone has already passed this way, it is possible to continue, there is a path to the destination.
So it is with our own lives.
Your words and actions leave footprints — in people’s hearts, in their memory, and in the world around us. They can wound, or they can heal. They can confuse, or they can become a sign of hope.
Task:
Do one small good deed today that will make the world a little cleaner: a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or help given without expecting gratitude.
