“The worker is worthy of his wages.” (1 Tim. 5:18)
We often thank those who provide us with bread, knowledge, or practical help. Yet there are people who quietly nourish our souls: priests, monks, deacons, seminarians, and consecrated religious. They pray when we sleep, serve when we rest, and support us even when they themselves are tired.
Their ministry is a gift that leads us to God. Gratitude for this gift is gratitude to the Lord Himself, who works through them.
Task:
Choose one or more:
✔️ Pray today for a specific priest, monk, or nun you know.
✔️ Send a message of gratitude to a spiritual servant (even a short note).
✔️ Do a small good deed to support your parish (donation, help, volunteering).
Prayer of Gratitude
Lord, I thank You for those who serve You and us. Bless them with joy, wisdom, health, and love, so that they may lead us with glad hearts on the path to Your Kingdom. Amen.
