St Volodymyr Ukrainian Catholic Church in Santa Clara, CA

On December 14, following the Divine Liturgy, our St. Volodymyr Parish celebrated the blessing of new liturgical items designated for service at the Holy Altar.

During the blessing, dalmatics for the altar servers were blessed. These vestments were sewn in Ukraine and made in four liturgical colors, corresponding to the different seasons and feasts of the liturgical year. They will serve for dignified and orderly ministry during the Church’s services.

In addition, the sanctuary lamp (eternal light), altar bells, vessels for holy oil, and holy water sprinklers were also blessed and will now be used in the liturgical life of the parish.

This event became another sign of care for the beauty and dignity of God’s house, as well as for the spiritual formation and service of our altar servers, who faithfully assist at the Holy Altar.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our benefactors, whose generosity made the acquisition and sewing of these liturgical items possible. May the Lord bless abundantly all who, through their generosity, support the life and growth of our parish community.
