On October 4, our parish hosted the first meeting of the new “Coffee Talk” series. The opening topic was the Parable of the Talents, which encouraged everyone to reflect on how we use the gifts God has given us.
Fr. Roman Bobesiuk led the spiritual part of the meeting, emphasizing the importance of developing our talents and having the courage to take a step forward. “We should not be afraid,” Father said, “because our whole life is made up of small but meaningful moments where we show our trust in God.”
The practical part was presented by Mr. Borys Senyk, a financial advisor, who spoke about different types of retirement investments, possible risks, and how to manage them wisely. The topic sparked great interest among participants and will surely continue in future meetings.
After the presentations, everyone enjoyed coffee, homemade pastries, and warm conversation in a friendly atmosphere. A special joy for our community was the visit of Fr. Oleh Kepeshchuk together with parishioners from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, which added even more warmth and unity to the event.
The “Coffee Talk” meeting showed that combining spiritual reflection with practical learning helps us grow in faith and wisdom, opening new horizons for our shared journey.
